Famous South Indian Actress Padmapriya Got Married to Jasmine Shah

Leading actress Padmapriya got married 

Famous South Indian actress Padmapriya married her long time boyfriend Jasmine Shah  in Mumbai at a private family function today in the presence of close family and friends. Jasmine and Padmapriya met  while they were pursuing higher studies . Padmapriya  was doing a research on the Economic Affairs of Public Sectors, in New York.   The couple fell in love during their research days in New York.

Jasmine, who hails from Gujarat is currently working as the Associate Director of Policy at Jameel Poverty Action Lab, South Asia, a research centre at the Economics Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is working at New Delhi centre of the organisation. Jasmine is also a graduate from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and holds M. Tech. and B. Tech. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras.
Padmapriya  debut in movies in the year 2003 with Telugu film "Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi", which was the remake of Kalabhavan Mani's "Vasanthiyum Lakshiyum Pinne Njanum". Padmapriya made her debut in Malayalam with Kaazhcha and has gone on to do around 48 films across all Southern languages and also in Hindi and Bengali. She is a National Award special jury award winner, two time Kerala state award winner, Tamilnadu state award winner and a 3 time Filmfare award winner. Padmapriya was born to Tamil parents Brigadier Janakiraman and Vijaya in Delhi and was brought up in various cities of Andhra Pradesh following her father's postings. She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. She holds a MBA in Finance from Kirloskar Institute, PG Diploma in Environmental Law from National Law School and Masters in Public Administration from NYU.Padmapriya whose latest release ‘Iyobinte Pushthakam’ is running to packed houses in the theatres. She will continue to pursue her career in acting after marriage.
