Karthik Krish apprenticed under director Shankar in Enthiran. Initially Ashrita Shetty had signed to the film's for lead actress but delays meant that she was replaced by newcomer Sonam Bajwa. Natarajan Sankaran replaced Santhosh Narayanan as the film's music composer.
